WHY / HOW WE STARTED
When Bill started on Saturday Night Live in 2005, i was unable to watch the premiere episode (Steve Carrell / Kanye West) because i was on a train to the city to meet up with friends outside the show. So i didnt meet him because i wasnt familar with Bill or Andy Samberg. But i skipped out on going to snl for about a month or so, so i watched saturday night live every weekend and became more familiar with new cast members. When i watched the Jon Heder show i was suddenly very interested in the talent of Bill Hader. Something about him caught my attention and i kept watching each weekend and never missed an episode to follow. In December 2005, i met Bill for the first time after the Dane Cook show in the lobby as he left the show and then the next two shows that month as well. But for the Jack Black show one of my friends Vanessa @ fallonized was visiting from Dallas and did standby so i came in to visit standby, while there Bill and Jason Sudeikis left rehearsals together on 49th street and we all had a great time meeting them and talking to them as they greeted fans waiting. Bill was incrediably nice to everyone, and he even did a recording of Peter Falk on Vanessa's MP3 player.

In January 2006, his talents started to grow even more on me and i became much more into his work. So i went online and did some research and found all these short comedy films he did with his troupe Animals from the Future and there were ones like "Sounds Good to Me ..", "The Interrogation" and "Calvin", and then i read up on how he landed on the show, and thats when i decided i wanted people to become more aware of Bill and fans around the net on message boards were really into him as well as sudeikis and samberg and those three were being talked about constantly on many message boards for snl and the snl cast members in cast chats. I started forming the site all through February, my designing was so bad its embarassing but thankfully ive gotten better.

By March, the site was launched as billhader.org, bill was the first to know about it at the matt dillon show, and was very popular by April. One night on standby, i think it was for the Lindsay Lohan show, there were tons of fans waiting around the marquee and Bill and Jason were leaving together. They hung around for quite a bit and then i had to go eat something before i passed out so i went to tell bill i was heading out and as we said goodbye and i was about to leave a girl came out of the crowd and asked if i was Kelly from "his fansite" (bill's) and it sort of hit me in the face to shock point and i needed her to repeat the question to make sure i was actually hearing someone recognize me from the web and i laughed and just said "Yeah" and Bill said "Yep, thats her, she's the reason people know who the hell i am ... You're like a little celebrity, dude" it was incrediably surreal and the quote is one ill never forget. I also signed two metrocards, a pillow, and a paper.

The site has drawn in visitors from all over the world, and has also drawn in visitors such as Bill's wife, Maggie Carey, The Hader family, Evan Goldberg (of Superbad), Jason Sudeikis has been a visitor, and its also led me to the great opportunity of meeting bill's parents and his sister Kara who recognized me from down in the lobby at NBC and i was able to sit with them at the John C. Reilly show in October 2006. We're also in contact with Bill who provides us with news on his latest projects, appearances, and promotion networks, and more. He has also been in association with two of our sites projects The Bill Chat where he chatted with fans daily/weekly and also participated in "Bill's Picks"

OTHER STAFF:
A large percent of the site is done by myself, the video player (design and coding) were done by me and i capture the videos myself. I do all the contents on both sites, as well as the gallery, and news and updates. The picture above is proof of my equipment (tv, eyetv capture machine for mac, and my ibook)
